Seasons

Darjeeling has 4 seasons and I ll try my best to describe it to you. Spring: March and April, characterised by greenery, mild sunshine, clear and crisp air. Somehow spring in Darjeeling always reminds me of bloooming Rhododendrons and scores of convent kids in their new uniforms beginning their acedemic year. But yes, spring will always be my favorite season in Darjeeling. I’m not sure if the warmer and windier May would qualify for summer (especially when compared to the summer in the rest of India). Scenic Beauty

You will lose youself in the scenic beauty of this little town… There is nothing like the sight of the fog rolling in or a picturesque sunset to make your day and this is what you will experience when you wake up every morning. A peek outside your window and you can admire the scenic beauty of the hills, the surrounding tea gardens and the Darjeeling town. The surrounding hills of consists of parts of Sikkim, Sandakpu and Phalut (which are very very close to the mountain range of Kanchendzonga).
